From outside London from the North, West and East

Come down the M11.

Even if you approach from the opposite side of London, most people will find it quicker, easier and less frustrating to drive round the M25 to get to the M11 at M25 Junction 27.

The M11 ends about 7 miles after the M25 where it forks and becomes the North Circular/A406.  Take the left fork for the North Circular A406(S) which will be signed to the Blackwall Tunnel and the A12/A13, Central London/Docklands. This is an urban motorway, the A12 which you join at the Redbridge roundabout.

On the A12 follow signs for Central London/Stratford. About 4 miles after the roundabout, come off at the Lea Interchange and take the signs for A106, Stratford, Dalston & Hackney then A106, Dalston & Bethnal Green. This requires you to go straight on at the traffic lights at the end of the slip road off the A12 and at a further set just past a bridge over the canal.

Continue on this road for about half a mile from the Motorway. Turn right at a T junction with a speed ramp; this junction is unsigned, but you have to turn right. You will immediate find a series of traffic lights just under more Motorway bridges.

Follow the sign for Bethnal Green (This is a place where you might go wrong, so go slowly. Ignore the fairly tight left turn just before the park and follow the road round a slight left fork, through a width restriction). This will take you along Victoria Park Road with Victoria Park on your left. (the road is one-way going west).

After just over half a mile there is a roundabout, turn right and park as soon as it's safe.

This road is Lauriston Road. WORKSHOP is on the right side of the road, about 30 yards from the roundabout.
